- Announce allocated boats at 18:00.
- Allocate empty spots (due to no-shows) to standby members.

- If it's the first Thursday of the month, conduct the introductory tour for visitors.
- Member Interaction & Club Engagement:
- Remain available to answer questions about the club.
- Gather suggestions and feedback from members regarding club activities and organization.
- Possibly join the members for dinner.
- Committee Member Involvement:
- Committee members (on and off duty) are strongly encouraged to attend and actively contribute to:
- Announcement of allocations.
- Allocation of standby members.
- Introductory tours.
- Member interaction and feedback.
II. Boat Assignment Procedure
- Pre-Announcement Preparation (Before 18:00):
- Evaluate meteorological conditions.
- In case of strong winds, consult with the Q-boat skipper to determine if training should be canceled for safety.
- Allocation Process:
- Boat allocation is determined by a pre-arranged lottery system.
- If allocated members are absent during the announcement, their spots are given to standby members.
- If a skipper is a no-show, inform the crew and attempt to redistribute them to available spots on other boats.
- Member & Non-Member Participation:
- Non-members may only participate if all members have been accommodated and spaces remain.
- Boats must not be crewed solely by unlicensed members, unless approved by the responsible person.
- This decision is based on weather conditions and the crew's experience.
- In case of doubt, prioritize safety.
- The Q-boat skipper has the authority to keep training boats grouped near Port Choiseul.
- Promoting Member Interaction & Learning:
- Avoid placing complete, pre-existing crews on keelboats to encourage member interaction.
- "K" students should ideally not sail with their regular instructors.
- Respecting Regattas:
- On days with regattas near the port, crews must avoid sailing within the regatta field.
- Optimizing Participation:
- Ensure Thursday training benefits all participants.
- For example, if there is low wind, and four people want to go on an Yngling, explain that it will be a better experience with fewer people.
