YCC Electrical Wiring for Mamma Mia

This page contains a number of pictures to make it easier to assemble and dismantle the electrical circuit when the boat is put ashore and back in the water. In particular, it contains pictures of the electrical connections to link the mast cable to the rest of the electrical circuit.

To make operations easier, it is advisable to remove the cushion covering the front platform of Mamma Mia's cabin and all the equipment on it before starting.

Connection of the Mast Wire

To reconnect the electricity after having raised the mast, the electrical cable coming from the mast should be threaded through the cable clamp on the deck just behind the mast:

The cable clamp must be unscrewed before sliding the cable into it, and then tightened all the way to ensure the watertight seal.

The cable should then be slid into the sheath just behind the central pillar in the middle of the cabin:

Then the cable passes through a small hole just at the foot of the central pillar:

In the front hatch under the platform there is a round connection box that needs to be opened, this is where the wires need to be connected to the rest of the circuit.
Here are the images showing the order of the connections in the chocolate block:
